Community Mainstreaming Associates (CMA)
Community Mainstreaming Associates is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Through residential services, day programs, and community integration initiatives, CMA empowers individuals to live independently and participate fully in society.
ICSC
ICSC is a global trade association serving the retail real estate and shopping center industry. It provides networking opportunities, market research, and educational resources that support the growth and innovation of retail-focused real estate professionals. They have multiple conferences throughout the country each year. Milbrook attends their Vegas and Florida conventions, and has a booth at their New York event every December.
Ice Hockey in Harlem
Ice Hockey in Harlem is a nonprofit organization that uses hockey as a platform to educate, empower, and inspire youth from underserved communities. Through academic support, mentoring, and athletic development, the program helps students achieve success both on and off the ice.
Jewish Children's Museum
The Jewish Children’s Museum is an interactive cultural institution in Brooklyn that offers hands-on exhibits and educational programs focused on Jewish history, values, and traditions. Designed for children and families, the museum promotes learning through play and exploration.
Jewish National Fund
Jewish National Fund is a global nonprofit organization committed to building a sustainable future for Israel. Through environmental initiatives, land development, and community-building projects, JNF supports ecological preservation and strengthens communities across the region. Rubin served on their board for decades and helped put together their Long Island annual golf and tennis outings for many years along with Sharon and Rubin helping on various Israel trips.
New York Apartment Association (formerly CHIP)
The New York Apartment Association represents property owners and managers across New York State. The organization advocates for fair housing policies, provides industry education, and supports the operational success of residential property professionals. Rubin served on their board for many years alongside Charles and Jeff, who is an active board member.
New York Developers
New York Developers is a network of real estate professionals focused on development, investment, and construction across the New York metropolitan area. The organization fosters collaboration, industry insights, and business growth within the development community. Each year NY Developers puts on a large party on the first night of the ICSC Vegas conference. Charles is currently on their board + planning committee.
Project To Cure (PTC)
Project To Cure is a nonprofit organization founded by Charles, Andrea, and Alex dedicated to funding pediatric brain cancer research. By funding innovative treatments and supporting affected families, PTC works to accelerate breakthroughs and improve outcomes for children facing life-threatening conditions. The organization and research are active within the Northwell Health Foundation.
The Bronx County Historical Society
The Bronx County Historical Society is dedicated to preserving and promoting the rich history of the Bronx. Through exhibitions, educational programs, and archival collections, the organization connects communities to the borough’s cultural heritage. Jeff and Charles served on their board for many years.
